龍年吉祥，萬事如意
猶他州中華聯誼會(台灣)迎接2024年春節的來臨，特於2月11日在鹽湖城市著聞名的巴西窰烤餐廳RodizioGrill舉辧＂龍生富貴虎生財，見者必將好運來＂2024年新春聯誼餐會暨年度會員大會。
聯誼會的會員和家人,再加上特別邀請的德柏(Draper)小學中文沉浸教學四年級的表演學生與家人共近兩佰人參與此一盛會，聯誼活動非常圓滿成功。
德柏小學學生的新年歌唱及舞獅表演給與會人士帶來許多歡樂氣氛，台北經濟文化代表處、聯誼會理事與猶他成功仕紳，甚至與會會員都熱烈捐贈贊助抽獎禮品與紅包，整個抽獎活動更給餐會帶來驚喜和高潮，全場洋溢過年的歡樂氣氛和喜氣。
餐會會後，多位會員來電鼓勵讚許本次活動舉辦之圓滿成功，也表達日後樂意參與協辦活動的意願；本次餐會感謝理事與美眷們的合作無間與各界人士的支持與參與，讓我們以歡愉的心情迎接新年的到來。
The Year of Dragon is Auspicious and Prosperous!
Members of the Chinese society of Utah (Taiwan) and their family members at Rodizio Grail, a Brazilian restaurant in Salt Lake City, gathered together on February 11 to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year of 2014.
The members and their families, with the Draper Elementary 4th grade Chinese Immersion students as well as their families, totalled 170 people attended this celebration. The luncheon was a success.
New Year songs, lion dance from the students, ruffle drawings,with the gifts and money in red envelopes donated from the board members and the sponsors had brought so much excitement and climax to the meal. The whole restaurant was filled with joy and surprises.
The luncheon ended around 2:30. We are grateful for the board members with their family’s corporation, in addition to the support from the participants to successfully wrap up the Lunar New Year’s celebration with a jovial heart!
